Successful Conclusion of the 2nd International Conference on Energy Technology and Electrical Power (ETEP 2025)

Hosted by University of South China and jointly supported by Harbin Institute of Technology and North China Electric Power University, the 2nd International Conference on Energy Technology and Electrical Power (ETEP 2025) was successfully held from December 26 to 28, 2025 in Hengyang. Centered on the theme of “Energy Technology and Electrical Power,” the conference brought together nearly one hundred experts and scholars from universities, research institutions, and industry both domestically and abroad to discuss cutting-edge technologies and future developments in the energy and power fields.

At the opening ceremony, Prof. Dewen Tang, Vice Dean of the College of Mechanical Engineering of University of South China, delivered a welcome address.

Three distinguished keynote speakers presented their insightful reports. Their excellent presentations inspired active thinking and enthusiastic exchanges among attendees. Prof. Wei Xu from Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences elaborated on "Linear Motor Systems Empowering Advanced Electrical Equipment".

The conference featured a rich and diverse agenda, including invited speeches, oral presentations, a graduate research forum, and poster sessions. Assoc. Prof. Xiaomin Kang, Assoc. Prof. Xuezhen Sun, and Dr. Zhitao Hu from University of South China shared significant progress in the interdisciplinary fields of materials and energy.

Researchers from State Grid Hebei Electric Power Research Institute, Shandong University, Changjiang University, and other institutions presented insightful findings, fostering lively discussions and a strong academic atmosphere. Notably, the graduate research forum stood out as a highlight, where 10 graduate students from University of South China showcased their latest research in electrochemistry, materials optimization, energy conversion, and battery technologies, demonstrating the innovation potential and vitality of young researchers.

第二届能源技术与电气电力国际学术会议(ETEP 2025)召开
2025年12月26日至28日,由南华大学主办,哈尔滨工业大学、华北电力大学共同支持的第二届能源技术与电气电力国际学术会议(ETEP 2025)在衡阳成功召开。会议以“能源技术、电气电力”为主题,汇聚了来自国内外高校、科研院所以及企业界的近百位专家学者,共同探讨能源电力领域的前沿科技与未来发展。
开幕式上,南华大学机械工程学院副院长唐德文教授致欢迎辞,南华大学副教授康晓民主持会议。三位主讲嘉宾发表主旨报告:IEEE Fellow、中国科学院电工研究所徐伟教授围绕“直线电机系统赋能高端电气装备”展开深刻阐述;内蒙古工业大学王顺利教授分享了“能源储存系统态势感知与电气电力建模技术”的最新进展;哈尔滨工业大学(深圳)张明明教授则解析了“大型风力发电系统智能化技术与应用”的前沿成果。三位专家的精彩报告激发了与会者的积极思考与热烈交流。
本次会议议程丰富多样,设有特邀报告、口头报告、研究生论坛和海报展示等多个学术环节。南华大学康晓民、孙雪振、胡志涛三位教师分别分享了材料与能源交叉领域的重要进展。国网河北电科院、山东大学、长江大学等单位的专家学者也带来了富有洞察力的研究成果,现场讨论热烈,学术氛围浓厚。值得一提的是,研究生论坛成为本届会议的一大亮点,10位南华大学的研究生展示了在电化学、材料优化、能量转化及电池技术等方向的最新科研成果,展现了青年科研人才的创新潜力与活力。
会议搭建了跨单位、跨领域的学术交流与合作平台,推动了能源技术与电气电力领域的交叉融合与创新发展。主办方表示,期待明年会议再度召开,继续携手探索能源可持续发展的美好未来。
